President-elect Donald Trump will travel to Washington, D.C., on Wednesday to visit the White House to meet with President Biden for the traditional transition-of-power meeting and to Capitol Hill to meet with fellow Republicans who during last week’s elections retained control of the House.
The meeting with Biden will largely be a formality between the two political rivals –Trump lost his 2020 reelection bid to Biden. And Biden, who this past summer dropped out of the presidential race, has been outspoken about his opposition to Trump running the country again.
