If Alejandro Mayorkas did not agree with Biden’s open border policies, he could have resigned. No one “forced” him to do anything, as he headed the worst border crises in American history. Nonetheless, his policies will no longer be the status quo, as they have been proven to be deeply unpopular with the American people. And just days before Trump’s second term, the best apology he has to Americans is that “Decisions are made.”
