Members of the Chinese press corps pushed and shoved American reporters and U.S. Secret Service members outside the White House ahead of Xi Jinping’s visit with President Donald Trump on Thursday.
Multiple videos captured by White House reporters show Chinese journalists jockeying for a better position while refusing directions from members of the U.S. Secret Service.
“Lots of shouting and raised voices as they refuse to move for Secret Service,” Connor Stringer of The Telegraph reported.
The Washington Examiner’s Christian Datoc, stated, “It’s getting very heated USS and WH officials threatening to remove one Chinese official for interfering with shots and official WH cams.”
“For context — the US press is of course aggressive, but Chinese press are physically aggressive and outright refuse to listen to staff and Secret Service,” reported Daily Wire White Correspondent Mary Margaret Olohan.
